ABOUT HYDROTHERAPY @ YMPT

Your first hydrotherapy appointment will be for approximately 60minutes and will be a comprehensive assessment of your presentation. A portion of this assessment will be devoted to hydrotherapy specific screening to ensure hydrotherapy is an appropriate modality for you and can be recommended in the development of your personalised treatment plan. You will also receive education and advice on how to best manage your presentation and its highly likely you will receive some simple exercises that you can do at home to help improve your condition. Overall, the goal of your first hydrotherapy physiotherapy appointment is to get a detailed understanding of your needs so that the best possible plan of care can be implemented. After your initial appointment, regular hydrotherapy sessions will be booked in line with your overall plan of care.

Please note: access to Milne Bay does not form part of YMPT service fees. Head to the Rackley Swimming website here to find out more about the centre.

Hydrotherapy sessions are typically 30min or 60min however sessions that run short will be billed at the booked rate.
